Thank you for doing such a great training job on my shih tzu "Lex". The difference in his behaviour is amazing. You
definitely have a gift. He used to bark all the time at the other groomers but no more...and the grooming job is fantastic.
Keep up the good work

I would like to thank you for the extra-ordinary professional job you did with my dog Bruni. For the last three years, I
have been struggling to find any pet groomer to cut my dog's long and tangled hair, but my search was in vain.
I took him many other groomers, but nobody could touch him. He was very aggressive. I ended up taking him to his vet in
Shaddock Hospital to give him sedation by needle to make him sleep in order to cut his hair.
I also took him for training session at one facility and the result was none. I took him to another training school as one on
one which was torturing for one and a half hours. I paid them $60.00 plus tax for each half an hour the result was zero.
You are the only one who, not only could groom him, but also help me in training him. I can see some changes in his
behaviour.
Thank you on behalf of my dog as well, as he is much more comfortable with his short hair.

Jean - We just wanted to thank you for helping us with our baby and two dogs. The techniques that you gave us were easy
and really worked. Now the baby can crawl around and play without upsetting the dogs. Everyone is getting along much
better and the dogs no longer think the baby is another puppy for them to control.
Thanks again for all your help.

Jean Daniels impressed me from our very first meeting. She is smart and energetic and puts 100% into everything she
does. She is patient and compassionate and loved by both her clients and their dogs. She did a great job with her own dogs
and can help you do the same. I see great things in Jean's future!

"Training with Jean was a pleasure. The one on one weekly training she gave us and our puppy was fantastic. She was
caring, diligent and effective. We now have the tools to raise a great dog."

I have known Jean Daniels for a number of years now and from day one, I have been extremely impressed at the way she
handles dogs of all shapes and sizes. She seems to know just how to talk to them and they in turn obviously love her and
are eager to please her. I often stand at my window and watch her in the field in front of my home and it is obvious that
she just loves these dogs and watches over them as if they were her most precious cargo, always with a big smile on her
face. I would be good to see her rewarded for all the time and effort she puts into caring for our dearly loved' babies'.
Thank you,

Grooming
I firstly would like to thank you for doing such a wonderful job on our boys, they look fantastic!
Murphy is like a young pup again! He feels so much better and definitely has a spring in his step, his eyes look amazing
and can definitely hear better. You have done a marvellous job with him, Thank you so much for taking the extra time and
for having the special patience that I am sure it took.
As I left on my message to you previously, we have taken the boys to a number of groomers only to be somewhat satisfied
with the results. A number of our neighbours have Shi Tzu's all of which we noticed how great their grooming looked.
Your name came up with each person we spoke with. Jean, your expertise & passion has definitely surpassed many other
groomers out there.

I am so pleased to hear that Jean has been nominated for Student of the Year & Dog Grooming of the Year by the IPDTA.
Jean is certainly worthy of both nominations. My dog Wally (miniature poodle) has been groomed by Jean for the last 2
years and I can't begin to tell you the compliments I receive from people on how good he looks all the time. She is truly a
professional in her craft and I admire the devotion she gives to each dog when they are in her care. She makes each pet
feel special and treated like a king or queen when they are being groomed. I have had many groomers over the years,
some literally traumatized my dog. Jean has made me feel comfortable in leaving Wally with her and I know he will
always get the best love and grooming. I hope Jean is chosen as the winner of both nominations, she surely deserves to be
recognized for her achievements.
Sincerely, Linda Ancona
Dear Ms. Laurette - I understand that Jean Daniels has been nominated as Student of the Year at your School, I just
wanted to drop you a short note and tell you that you could not pick a better person than Jean. I have always had Yellow
Labs and a year and a half ago my daughters decided to get me a Beashon/Poo, not ever having a small dog and having
no idea the impact she would have on my life (I never wanted a small dog and now wouldn't trade her for anything) I had
no idea where to go or who to see to have her groomed - Who do I trust? I met Jean through work and decided to give it a
go, of course I was worried because my Dolce is just little and quite the Diva (OK spoiled) When I picked her up the first
time Dolce was well groomed but more important happy not only to see me but to be with Jean - Every time Dolce needs to
be groomed Jean is the only person I could or would trust with her, Dolce is happy to see her and doesn't cry when I leave
- That alone tells me Jean is wonderful with her - Dolce will usually cry when I leave her! Jeans patience and
understanding of all animals is amazing and a better person you couldn't pick for the honor.
Sincerely, Debbie MacKenzie
Ms. Norma Jeanne Laurette, I understand that Jean has been nominated for Groomer of the Year and Student of the Year
and I wanted to send you a quick note letting you know just how much we think of Jean and her incomparable service and
ability. We met Jean years ago and she has been grooming our Golden Retriever, Molly, ever since. There were many
groomers before Jean but while we were living in Burlington there was never another after. Molly adores Jean and is
pampered with 'girl time' each visit. Not only does Molly look beautiful but her ears, often infected, are always taken care
of; given extra attention and care. A couple of years ago we moved to Owen Sound, almost 3 hours from Burlington, and
we tried a few different groomers in the area. No one compared. For the past year Jean has been kindly accommodating
our often short notice requests for Molly's Girl Time and we make the trek back to Burlington for her much needed bath
and pampering. We all adore Jean. Molly stands and starts panting at the window as soon as we turn down Jean's street.
It's adorable and I will continue to make the drive for as long as we have dogs.
Should you need any further information please don't hesitate to contact me.
Kindest regards, Kathy Moores
Congratulations on your awards Jean! You're a great groomer and a great person, we've never found someone so capable
of dealing with our little diva shih tzu :)

Thank you again for all that you have done. I never thought that by getting a puppy we would get a very loving and
helpful Gammie too. You outdid everything I ever imagined. From the binder with all the useful information, to the special
toys and blanket and cd of puppy milestone pictures - you are absolutely amazing! Of course, with the sweet disposition of
the puppies, we know that they have only had tender loving care their entire lives. Thank you for offering to give help via
phone 24/7 if we need it. You are definitely tops on our list. Ping is adorable and we are very grateful.

Jean,
Adam and I would like to thank you for providing Fritz with such a fantastic, fostering and caring environment. Our new
puppy is doing so well. He is so calm and social with our entire family and all the enthusiastic visitors who have come to
meet him. This is our second day with Fritz, and so far, no accidents in the house...he even went the entire night without
needing to go!!! It was a pretty smooth night for his first night away from his parents and siblings. Fritz clearly acquired
his nature from the loving home you provided him. Thank you so much!!! We'll be getting in touch for grooming soon!
Sincerely, Filomena
Hi Gammie:
I am doing well with my new family. I eat three times a day now that I get water added to it to make it soft. Playing in the
snow is great fun, and I love playing with just about everything. I have learned how to go up stairs really fast but still
scared to come down.I have played so much that I get lots of sleep at night.
Take care! Sending you and the family lots of love!
xoxo, Ping

Hi Jean, Minnie Angel is such an angel! We have been having lots of fun together. She has been eating her kibble, drinking
water, napping and running around with much joy. She also looooves my fuzzy white cat and wants to play with him so
much, but my cat is scared so far and tries to run away. How can I make her go pee on the puppy pad?
Thank you, Joanna
Jean Daniels gives above and beyond what anyone can expect from someone that home raises Miniature Schnauzer
Puppies. She provides the puppies with a loving environment inside her home where they grow and develop under the
watchful eyes of both parent dogs.
Jean is qualified in many areas of dog development and behaviour, however it is the care and attention she gives the
puppies that stands out. Our puppy was a surprise Christmas gift to my wife and Jean provided me with a wonderful
DVD showing the puppies development from birth date to 4 weeks old which we presented to her on Christmas morning.
We had to wait another 5 weeks to pick up our new arrival which Jean welcomed us to visit to bond with him. During this
time I believe we formed a friendship with Jean and her husband Steve.
Our puppy Bogart is a healthy, boisterous, loving bundle who is training us how to look after him. How well he has settled
in with us is entirely due to Jeans loving and attention before we brought him home.
I wish Jean, Steve and her dogs a future of continuing good health and happiness. She certainly helped in making our
lives happier and more satisfying by allowing us to have this wonderful gift that keeps on giving.

I have known Jean Daniels for a number of years, and I cannot think of anybody else more deserving of the Student of the
Year & Dog Grooming of the Year awards.
One of the main reasons why I have a dog today is because of Jean. About a year ago she mentioned that she had
intentions of breeding Miss Minnie (her dog). After careful consideration, I decided that a dog would be a wonderful
addition. After five books, one magazine and several web sites, I concluded that a Miniature Schnauzer would be the right
fit. The research also made me bit concerned about getting a badly socialized or "trouble" dog, since I lead a very busy life
and we would not have the extra time or resources to train him/her.
The whole process started when I told Jean that I would like a puppy from the litter. Not only she loaned me material to
make an informed decision, but she kept me up to date and made me feel like I was part of the puppy's life from day one. I
received a video a few hours after the puppies were born and pictures twice a week.I was also invited to see them as soon
as it was possible (taking all the measures necessary to preserve the health of the puppies). After several visits (I would go
to her house every week) I chose the cutest puppy in the litter and I named him Sam. She guided us through the process,
she took care of the paperwork, vaccinations, microchip, vet visits, etc. Needless to say, Sam was perfectly groomed! My
concerns about a badly socialized dog went out the window when I saw them in her dining room being part of the family,
and when she told me that every night she cuddled with her "babies" on the couch to watch TV.
As a new parent, there were many occasions when I called her late at night to ask her questions, and she patiently
answered them. Jean's main priority is the well-being of her "babies" and she would have no qualms in letting me know ifI
am doing something wrong. Recently,I had to leave Sam behind for a couple of days and he stayed with Jean and family.
Leaving him makes me very anxious, but I could not think of a better place for him to stay!
Jean takes great pride in what she does and loves her dogs. I would happily commend her for the Student of the Year &
Dog Grooming of the Year awards. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
Sincerely, Val Salzano
I bought a Miniature Schnauzer from Jean on 14 Feb '09. As a first time dog owner in Canada, I learnt everything I
needed to know from Jean. From the moment I decided to buy Annie, I was able to contact Jean anytime and I would get
an almost immediate response from Jean. A year later, I still go back to Jean for all Annie's grooming and can still direct
any questions and concerns to Jean with regards to Annie's health, behavior or any other issues.
I am sure Jean speaks "dog", but we hear it in English....
Kind regards, Sandra Walkden
Shhh its me Gammie
I just wanted to let you know I'm so smart , I know how to use this computer. I have had lots of fun, and a good nights
sleep.
The food is good and I did my business outside! No accidents! They seem to be so impressed with everything I do.
Just thought I'd let you know, I'm going to be just fine here. Gotta go now their calling me??

Hi Jean
Just wanted to let you know that Ryker is settling in nicely. He was very quiet at first just taking everything in and not
quite sure but as the day went on he starting getting more playful. By evening he was getting a bit growly when the kids
would pick him up but I think he was getting pretty tired and it was such a big day for him leaving his family. I told the
kids to just leave him and ignore him and that he needed to have a nap as he was probably getting tired from all the
attention. He was quiet as a mouse all night in his crate, although we did keep it in our bedroom. So far we have had no
accidents and he has gone to the bathroom outside. Yesterday he was whining and I took him out and told him to do his
business and he did it within minutes. Is it best to stop interacting with him immediately when he growls and walk away,
rather than trying to hold him and tell him no because he was getting more mad if I tried to hold him. He was tired, and
today if he starts to growl, we have been ignoring him and walking away and within a few seconds he is following us.
I also want to thank you very much for the puppy package and all the information you gave us. It was a real pleasure
purchasing a puppy from you.
