THE
FLUID ENVELOPE
The
Fluid Envelope is a series of paintings as well as an interactive CD-ROM
with images, text, video and music This project grows out of an interest in
space as a location in culture. Space is contextual. Hence the notion of fluidity
- suspension in a changeable medium, envelopment. In this fluid context, one
floats in the control of (or in resistence to) larger forces - nature or culture.
