Hi, my name is Ivan Pinzon. I was born in Bogota, Colombia and have been flying model airplanes since 1984.
I competed for 15 years in precision aerobatics, spending the last 5 of those flying in the FAI category.
At that same time, I started flying scale precision aerobatics and have been doing that for the last 10 years. I just love the look, feel, size of these airplanes, the sequences, the gas engines.
I am the proud father of Natalia, Nicolas and Vanesa and also the proud husband of Patricia. Thanks guys for understanding why I spend so much money and time on this hobby.
My other interests include computers (I am a senior software developer at Autodesk) and playing the keyboards (music you know).
