Bio: Lord Brand was the bastard son of a Norman Lord and the Saxon Lady that formerly ruled the area controlled by his father before the Normand invasion. Lord Brand apprenticed in his youth to his maternal Uncle (a maker of fine Maille armour) as well as training for combat under his father. After his father and all eligible heirs besides Lord Brand died under mysterious circumstance, it was suggested by the Bishop and Baron that oversaw his holdings that he go serve on crusade to clear and unluckiness before inheriting his land (there were very careful NOT to actually accuse Lord Brand of having a hand in his families death) while on crusade Lord Brand picked up an number of orphans and men-at-arms to make a rather formidable if somewhat ragtag family unit. Upon his return to England Lord Brand found his country in the middle of a war of succession, during which he supported Queen Maude and her son, during which he greatly increased his family holdings. After solidifying his hold on his estate he was once again struck with wanderlust and took up his family and men-at-arms to travel for adventure, eventually finding himself in a strange land and settling upon a reasonable estate granted to on the border of a kingdom with many great inland fresh water seas known to one and all as the Midrealm from here he supports his new kingdom in many internal battles and some great wars with their rival simple known as the Kingdom of the East.
