What can I do during Lent?
- attend Holy Mass each day or at
least a few days in the week
- make a holy and humble
confession
- set aside some part of my day
for personal prayer
- reflect on some Scripture,
alone or, better still, with others
- set aside some money that I
might spend on myself and give it to an
- organization that serves people who
are needy
- similarly, if I decide to abstain
from smoking or alcohol
- attend Stations of the Cross on
Fridays at 5:15 pm
