In the fall, when most tourists have left Algonquin Provincial Park here in Ontario, Canada, my son Jason and myself, Tom, went for a 45 mile weekend hike. Even with most of the leaves already fallen, the scenery was still breathtaking. Those black blobs in this photo are moose, and if you stick with me, you'll get a closer look.
