WASHINGTON 2, ANAHEIM 2: Steve Bernier
and Chris Gratton scored third-period goals as Anaheim rallied from a 2-0
deficit. Johan Hedberg made 25 saves for Washington.
DALLAS 3, SAN DIEGO 2:
Derek Roy had two points, including the game winning goal on a third-period
power play, to lift Dallas to victory. Scott Clemmenson made 20 saves for
the win.
HOUSTON 2, CLEVELAND 1:
Tony Amonte and Marc Chouinard scored third-period goals as Houston rallied
for a 2-1 win. David Leneveu stopped 24 shots for the Aeros.
January 22
CALGARY 3, LOS ANGELES 0: Brian Sutherby
and Christian Backman scored 1:13 apart and Michael Garnett stopped 16
shots for his second shutout.
January 21
PHOENIX 8, CLEVELAND 5: Randy Robitaille
had three points and Phoenix scored six times in the second period on its
way to victory. Marcus Nilson, Todd Fedoruk and Zbenyk Michalek each had
two points while Jeremy Roenick, Andrei Markov and Scott Mellanby each
had two points for the Barons.
ANAHEIM 10, NEW YORK 6: Mikko Koivu
had two goals and three assists and Ric Jackman scored twice and set up
two more for the Ducks. Steve Bernier had 4 points, giving him 11 in the
last three games and linemates Koivu, nine points in three games, and Mark
Smith, four goals in four games, have also been hot.
MINNESOTA 6, SEATTLE 3:
Travis Green scored six seconds after Seattle had tied the game 3-3 and
Alexander Khavanov and Keith Ballard scored within the next three minutes
as the Wild pulled away to win 6-3. Jamie Heward scored twice for Seattle.
HOUSTON 4, LOS ANGELES 4:
Chris Kelly scored twice and set up another as Los Angeles rallied to tie
Houston on Ryan Craig's goal with three minutes to play. David Leneveu
made 39 saves for the Aeros.
January 20
NEW YORK 2, PHOENIX 1: Pierre Marc
Bouchard, who scored the winner, and Ian Laperriere each had a goal and
an assist. Petr Budaj faced only 17 shots for New York.
ANAHEIM 6, WASHINGTON 3: Steve Bernier
scored twice and set up three more as Anaheim doubled Washington. Jan Bulis
also scored twice. Steve Avery had two points for Washington.
January 19
CLEVELAND 2, CALGARY 1: Andrei Markov's
third-period goal broke a 1-1 tie and Sean Burke made 26 saves for the
Barons.
January 18
DALLAS 6, HOUSTON 2: Mike Cammalleri
and Lee Stempniak each scored twice to lead Dallas past Houston. Nik Antropov,
Chris Campoli and Andy Hutchinson each had two assists for the Stars.
MINNESOTA 5, SEATTLE 3: Jocelyn
Thibault made 36 saves in his Wild debut but the win was a costly one as
Minnesota's leading scorer Todd White, third in the league with 45 points,
will be out until mid-February. Brett McLean, Chris Kunitz and Keith Ballard
each had two points.
NEW YORK 4, SAN DIEGO 2:
Brooks Laich's first goal in 36 games broke a 2-2 tie with 2:16 to play.
Laich's goal was the first even-strength goal of the game. Petr Budaj stopped
29 shots and Sami Kapanen had two assists.
January 17
CALGARY 5, NEW YORK 1: Michael Garnett
made 38 saves and Dean McAmmond had two goals and an assist to lead Calgary
to victory. Niclas Havelid and David Tanabe each had two points.
January 16
SEATTLE 5, HOUSTON 4 (OT): Houston
scored twice in 25 seconds with less than six minutes to play to tie the
game but Kyle Wellwood's second goal of the game in overtime gave Seattle
the win. Ryan Getzlaf and Rene Bourque each had two points.
MINNESOTA 3, SAN DIEGO 3:
Minnesota and San Diego came into the game tied for first place and Matthew
Lombardi's goal with four minutes remaining made sure it stayed that way.
The Gulls' Alexei Ponikarovsky and the Wild's Patrick Sharp each had two
points.
DALLAS 2, CALGARY 1:
R.J. Umberger and Derek Roy scored for the Stars and Mike Dunham stopped
20 shots for the win.
LOS ANGELES 4, ANAHEIM 3:
The Kings scored four unanswered goals, two by Ryan Craig, as Los Angeles
wiped out a 3-0 deficit. Petr Nedved had two points as did the Ducks' Mikko
Koivu.
CLEVELAND 2, PHOENIX 1:
Sean Burke made 30 saves and Scott Thornton's second-period goal broke
a 1-1 tie. The Barons' leading scorer, Matt Pettinger, was injured on his
first shift of the game and will be out of the lineup for 10 days.

ANAHEIM 3, SEATTLE 2: Mark Smith scored
twice, including the winner, and Dan Cloutier stopped 32 shots for the
victory.
January 13
SEATTLE 4, SAN DIEGO 3 (OT): San Diego's
Alex Ponikarovsky scored with 45 seconds to play to tie the game but Seattle's
Rene Bourque scored in overtime. Mikael Holmqvist and Andy Hilbert each
had two points for Seattle while Martin Erat set up all three San Diego
goals.
January 12
SAN DIEGO 6, HOUSTON 4: Matthew Lombardi
had three points and Alex Ponikarovsky and Trevor Letowski each scored
twice .
PHOENIX 2, LOS ANGELES 1:
Tomas Plekanec scored the game winning goal with 2:05 to play. Vitaly Kolesnik
made 39 saves for the win.
CALGARY 3, WASHINGTON 1:
Mikael Samuelsson had two points and Dean McAmmond had two assists for
Calgary, who outshot Washington 41-20. Michael Garnett made 19 saves for
the win while Patrick Lalime stopped 38 shots in a losing effort.
January 11
SAN DIEGO 4, CALGARY 2: Mathieu Baron
scored power play goals 90 seconds apart in the opening minutes of the
third period and Jamie Lundmark netted the winner as San Diego overcame
a 2-0 deficit. Brian Willsie had both goals for Calgary, who outshot the
Gulls 31-19.
LOS ANGELES 6, DALLAS 5:
Patrick Stefan scored the game winner and Craig Rivet had two points for
the Kings. Martin Lapointe had two points for the Stars.
CLEVELAND 1, PHOENIX 1: Cleveland's
Richard Park and Phoenix's Jamal Mayers exchanged late third-period goals
and Vitali Kolesnik made 39 saves, including five in overtime.
HOUSTON 5, WASHINGTON 4:
Mike Van Ryn had four points and Chris Clark scored twice as Houston held
on after building a 4-1 first-period lead. The teams combined for 27 minor
penalites, creating 23 power play opportunities.
MINNESOTA 4, ANAHEIM 0: Jamie
McLennan made 24 saves for a shutout and Petr Prucha and Chris Kunitz each
had a goal and an assist.
January 10
CLEVELAND 7, NEW YORK 4: Geoff Sanderson
and Matt Pettinger each scored twice and Dan Hamhuis set up four goals
in Cleveland earned a split in its home and home series with New York.
MINNESOTA 5, DALLAS 1:
Petr Prucha had two goals and an assist and Jamie McLennan faced only 13
shots in the Wild net. Minnesota outshot Dallas 13-1 in the second period.
January 8
NEW YORK 1, CLEVELAND 0: Dustin Penner
scored his first goal of the season with six minutes to play to give New
York a 1-0 win over Cleveland. Olaf Kolzig, who faced only one shot in
the second period, made 19 saves for the shutout. Jason Labarbera stopped
30 shots for the Barons.
HOUSTON 4, PHOENIX 3:
Serge Aubin had two points and Ryan Kesler had two assists as Houston edged
Phoenix, despite giving up three power play goals.
SAN DIEGO 4, SEATTLE 0: Ilya
Bryzgalov made 26 saves for his league-leading fourth shutout of the season.
Petr Cajanek had three points, including a shorthanded goal.
DALLAS 7, WASHINGTON 2: Mike Cammalleri
had three goals and two assists and Derek Roy also had a hat trick as Dallas
blasted Washington.
MINNESOTA 2, CALGARY 2: J.S.
Aubin made five of his 33 saves in overtime to preserve a tie for Minnesota.
Matt Stajan scored the tying goal in the third period.
January 7
LOS ANGELES 4, CLEVELAND 3: Los Angeles
scored three times in the first six minutes of the third period to down
Cleveland, who got a pair of goals from Matt Pettinger. Chris Kelly, Pavol
Vorobiev, Stephane Veilleux and Martin Lapointe each had two points for
LA.

MINNESOTA 2, ANAHEIM 1: J.S. Aubin
made 22 saves and Alexander Khavanov broke a 1-1 tie in the second period
in Minnesota's win. Ryan Miller stopped 34 shots for Anaheim.
January 5
LOS ANGELES 5, MINNESOTA 4: Oleg Kvasha
scored twice as Los Angeles, despite being outshot 34-15, edged Minnesota.
Nico Kapanen and Stephane Villieux each had two points, as did Minnesota's
Todd White and Petr Prucha.
PHOENIX 5, WASHINGTON 3:
Paul Martin and Nikolai Zherdev each had three points as Phoenix scored
four unanswered goals in the third period.
January 4
HOUSTON 2, SEATTLE 2: Ryan Getzlaf
scored two power play goals in the third period to wipe out a 2-0 deficit.
Michael Tellqvist stopped 38 shots for Houston.
LOS ANGELES 3, CALGARY 1:
Martin Lapointe had a pair of goals to lead the Kings to a 3-1 win. Yann
Denis stopped 16 shots for the victory.
NEW YORK 7, DALLAS 2: Radim
Vrbata had two goals and two assists and Thomas Vanek had three points
as New York routed Dallas. Olaf Kolzig stopped 42 shots for the Rangers.
January 3
SAN DIEGO 7, SEATTLE 1: Petr Cajanek
had three points and Matt Carle and Dustin Brown each scored twice for
the Gulls. Ilya Bryzgalov made 33 saves for the win.
CLEVELAND 4, DALLAS 3 (OT):
Geoff Sanderson scored seven seconds into overtime and Curtis Sanford made
35 saves for the Barons. Nik Antropov had a pair of goals for Dallas.
WASHINGTON 6, ANAHEIM 6:
Steve Begin scored his second goal of the game with 1:04 to play to earn
Washington a 6-6 tie. Jason Chimera had two goals and an assist for Anaheim.
January 2
SAN DIEGO 6, PHOENIX 5: San Diego held
off a late comeback that saw the Coyotes Chris Neil score goals 26 seconds
apart with less than three minutes to play. Jason Woolley had three assists
for San Diego while Randy Robitaille and Nikolai Zherdev each had three
points for Phoenix.
LOS ANGELES 5, HOUSTON 2:
Dave Scatchard had two points and Yann Denis made 26 saves for the win.
Patrice Brisebois had two assists.
DALLAS 6, WASHINGTON 4: Mike
Cammalleri scored twice and R.J. Umberger had three points for Dallas.
Alexander Mogilny scored twice for Washington.
