Mech Unit

When the risk to a.c.e.r. agents exceeds acceptable limits in volatile situations, the versatile Sprite IMU (Insertion Mech Unit) is employed. A bipedal fully mechanized armature gives the Sprite maximum movement over natural or urban landscapes.

Originally designed as a foil against the Vox Manits Biomech, the Sprite has expanded it's roll to include various high-risk roles that the a.c.e.r. department may be called upon to deal with.

The unit's small size hides a long operational life provides by the deut-slush cell mounted on the belly of the unit.

Two variable usage weapons ports are located on the rear of the control pod, allowing of a variety of task-specific packages to be quickly installed either on the field, or at base. Shown are a vectoring ion plasma rifle capable of incapacitation any unshielded electronic device up to a range of 800 m. The other port sports an 8 mag-pod missle bay, launching up to 4 km to impact on target with a high-attraction magnetic yield, instantly seizing all mechanical movement. Both packages are non-lethal by design.

The Sprite is meant to work in unison with other a.c.e.r. platforms, particularily the Sparrow aerograv skipsled, currently under development.

As with all a.c.e.r. platforms, they are denoted by the bar/dot insignia, in this case on the port flank.

Using the universal weapons rack, the Sprite also boasts a variety of Defense Package Suites.
