Initial reports from the attack on Titian Industries Saturn shipyards indicated that the force came strictly from the air and from an orbital platform. Examination of the audio distress calls recently discovered however indicates that a ground assault took place simultaneously. When cross referenced with the obtained pirate footage, images of a biological/mechanical assault platform came to light. Using forensic imaging, a profile of the VOX 'biomech' was constructed.

Based on the footage, a model has been created for study. A triped with mechanical and biomech limbs, the Mantis class platform suspends it's pilot in a memetic pod, linking it directly to the biomech through a small interface port behind the head.

 Equiped with two bioplasmic emmitters and a nullgrav array under it's shell, the Mantis can descend from a low orbit, covering the area with ground fire until landed.
