Started in the year 2000 by similar thinking hot rod and classic car enthusiasts the Good Time Cruisers started meeting in the Brookdale Mall parking lot near the traffic circle at the north end of the bridge to the United States in Cornwall, Ontario. They moved to the west parking located at the Canadian Tire store on Ninth Street near Sydney Street in the City of Cornwall where they met every Friday night during the summer months for four or five years. In the year of 2007, due to confusion of who owns the west parking lot at Canadian Tire, the club moved to the Zeller’s parking lot in the East Court mall on Second Street East in Cornwall. Where they meet every Friday night between the last Friday of April till the last Friday of October from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. or dark which ever comes last. During the winter months we meet at the Tim Horton’s in the East Court mall at the corner of Second Street East and Glengarry Boulevard, just to keep in touch and to make plans for the next summer.
