Dave
Scott Clinic: Better with Age
January 23, 2006
Triathlon Ottawa's
second annual Dave Scott Iron Distance Clinic
finished up over the weekend to rave reviews.
The 24 clinic participants were treated to a
busy weekend of active and lecture sessions led
by Ironman legend Dave Scott and hosted at the
Ottawa Athletic Club. For close to 20
hours the group learned the critical information
and techniques that lead to success in
triathlon's most famous distance. As a
special treat, Dave was joined by Olympian
Sharon Donnelly who co-presented the run session
and served as an excellent model during the
swim.
Our photo album of the clinic and Triathlon Talk
2006 is featured below - a great memento to
those in attendance. This year's event
sold out even more quickly than in '05 and we
are confident that 2007 will see a third annual
event.
Triathlon Ottawa would like to thank all of those who came out to
support both the clinic and Triathlon Talk 2006, our speaking event
which raised over $2000 for the Ottawa
Riverkeeper. This event
would have been impossible without the contributions from our
sponsors especially Ken Parker at
RunnersWeb.com.
Thank you.
