Nutrition Check Up
Do you have questions or concerns about your diet and
nutrition. Would you like to check if you are doing the
right things to achieve your goals. The nutrition check up
provides you with an opportunity to speak with a sports
nutritionist to answer your questions and provide advice on
your dietary habits.
The nutrition check-up includes:
-
completion of a pre consultation nutrition analysis
form
-
one hour consultation
-
the opportunity for follow up work if required.
Individual Consultation
(60min)
An individual session to discuss your specific sports
nutrition needs.
Follow up consultation
(30min)
To provide further information or feedback in person after
either an individual consultation or a nutrition check up.
Meal Planning
This package is designed to provide a detailed look at your
current eating habits and provide you with the information
you require to ensure your diet enables you to achieve your
goals. It includes two (1 hour) sessions with the sports
nutritionist, dietary analysis and meal plans tailored to
your individual needs.
-
The initial consultation will discuss your current
dietary habits, training and nutrition issues.
-
You will complete a 3 day dietary intake assessment
and provide a training log
-
Meal plans tailored to your individual needs will be
developed based on the information gained through the
consultation and nutritional analysis. The meal plans and
feedback from your nutritional analysis will be discussed at
the second consultation.
Dietary Analysis
If you have always wondered how much carbohydrate, fat and
protein your diet contains then complete a three day dietary
intake and have your diet analysed using a nutrient analysis
software package. You will be provided with a detailed
report of your daily intakes of the major nutrients and the
nutrient timing. It is recommended that you link this with
a 30min follow up consultation or an individual consultation
if you require a more in depth discussion to review your
dietary analysis
Body Composition
(30min)
How do you know what changes your nutrition and exercise
interventions/training are having on your body composition.
If you want to monitor the changes that are occurring more
accurately than jumping on the scales then a full body
composition assessment can be used to track changes over
time. The assessments can be beneficial whether you are
looking to reduce your fat mass or achieve your optimal race
physique. The assessment includes the measurement of
height, weight, four girth measurements and 7 skinfold
sites. You will get an information sheet with all your
results to allow you to track the changes over time to help
you achieve your goals.
Prices range from $40 - $250
