Indoor Cycling Classes
This high-energy group exercise class combines music, camaraderie and visualization into a 60 minute class while simulating an outdoor ride.   Our classes are for participants of any age or ability. We use the Lemond Indoor Group Cycling bike, the smoothest, most adjustable bike on the market.

Ab Solution

Abdominal muscles alone are over-rated when it comes to real core strength or conditioning. The "core" actually consists of many different muscles that stabilize the spine and pelvis and run the entire length of the torso. These muscles stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulder and provide a solid foundation for movement in the extremities. Our Core conditioning exercise class will target all these muscle groups so you get an efficient, effective workout.

Location:
All classes take place at the OttawaFit Studio, 1226a Wellington (above Morris Home Hardware)
Note: All classes are organized and run by the instructors as part of their own individual businesses. 
   
What to Bring

For all classes please bring clean, indoor-only shoes for use in our studio. 

Towels are recommended for the classes but please be aware that we do not have showering facilities.

Indoor Cycling: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of class.  Bring a water bottle and a towel. If you have bike shorts, please wear them. Bring a short sleeved top, as it does get very warm in our cycling room.
Please bring a pair of workout shoes or biking shoes. Ideally a shoe with a stiff soled bottom. We have SPD and Look (classic) compatible pedals, if you have biking shoes. If you have a heart rate monitor, please bring that as well.

Muscular and Core Classes: Towel, exercise/yoga mat, loose-fitting/comfortable clothing.
 

Policies

Drop In's:

Dropping in to a class can only be done up to 24 hours in advance. Participants must contact OttawaFit ahead of time to confirm bike availability. Drop in classes will be $12 per class, cash only.

Make Up's:
At OttawaFit we value our clients and we understand that life can sometimes get in the way of your health and lifestyle goals.  If you need to miss a class that you are registered for, let us know AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE (which will hopefully allow someone else to take your spot), you will be entitled to a make up during the session.  To make up the class contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the class you wish to attend and, if a spot is free, it's yours!  Make ups cannot be carried over to the next session.
