Introduction

We opened in 1973 selling sails, but eventually got into chandlery, rigging and brokerage. In March 2001, we decided we needed a little more free time, so sadly closed the Chandlery and Rigging businesses.

We have now also closed the brokerage business.

We acquired an Ontario 32 that we are refitting. At first, we thought it might be used as a floating brokerage office, but no need for that now. The work on upgrading the boat is almost complete.  We have thought about chartering the Ontario or  offering day sailing trips to visitors, but there are insurance and other issues. We may (more likely) just close the books in 2005 and use the boat ourselves!

Marine Museum of the Great Lakes Located adjacent to the old Kingston Dry Dock - You can even B&B on a Coastguard cutter - the Alexander Henry at economical rates.

Collins Bay Marina Collins Bay Marina (Hub & Michele Steenbakker) have their own heavy duty crane on site - Launch and haulout is flexible - They have a mast crane, pump out fuel etc. and they are located adjacent to The Lemoines Point Conservation Area and a community park.  Give them a call at (613) 389-4455.
