Restored version of this show taken from a low generation cassette, which now includes the entire lecture and Q & A session as well as all audience applause.

 

Portions of this show were briefly replayed the following evening in San Francisco - 1983/03/04

1649 is confirmed, but 1648 is only assumed to be the beginning portion of this loop.  It was not recorded.

 

1740 and 1739 are replays from the previous nights show

at the University of California campus in San Diego - 1983/03/02

 

A tape splice has been repaired using the creation loop of 1649 during the middle of 1905 Over 1649.

The opening of 1649 has also been restored using the replay version 1905 Over 1649.

 

Ω 1863 is the end of a piece which sounds like it is from this recording, yet does not correspond

to any existing loop on this tape.  It appeared on the end of side one of the cassette about 1 minute after

the 1st half of 1905 Over 1649 had ended, which makes no sense.  It was therefore placed at a possible

location for it’s creation, where a known tape splice existed.

 

The other remaining snippets cannot be identified at this time.
