Notes
A photo in the local paper with caption is on display at DGM Live here
At the end of the first set, Fripp mentions his intention to return after a break to perform soloing over top of his pre-recorded show in Webster Groves - July 18, 1979 at Streetside Records
The 2nd set comprises this additional performance of soloing on top of 1915, 1914 and 1913, all taken from the Webster Groves show on July 18, 1979.
A comparison to the recording from “Coast to Coast” verifies both source dates, as there are no solos present on the Webster Groves recording.
This 2nd set source recording has been remastered. Original recording was very harsh and distorted. Some distortion (due to excessively high recording levels) still remains.
Fripp has mentioned the difficulties he had to overcome at this venue because food and drinks were served during the performances. |
