Very nice quality stereo audience recording.

Slight hiss reduction, some high end EQ added with some mid range reduction.

Pitch corrected to A440 standard tuning and balanced.

 

Unfortunately only the first part of the show has been located.

The typical “Two Questions” discussion is usually followed by a replay with soloing

of the pieces just created, so I suspect that would have occurred at this show.

 

A very weird Revox malfunction occurs as Fripp is tuning his guitar.

There are two sudden burst of playback from the end section of 1781.

Fripp mentions that this occurred “the same as last night” referring to his performance at Caper’s Corner in Kansas City, KS.  How or why this would occur appears to defy mechanical logic.

The machine appears to have rewound itself about a minute and started replaying the tape

for no apparent reason.  Very bizarre.

 

Fripp mentions in his diary that this performance was replayed behind him at a June 3, 1999 Soundscapes

performance in Salisbury.  This means of course that the original tape still exists in Fripp’s possession !

 

A stereo Frippertronics simulation has been applied to all 3 tracks and added in lieu

of the actual stereo replay versions unfortunately missing from this short but sweet recording.

This would closely resemble what Fripp would have on his tape, with the occasional solo element

added during the creation process.
