Original Notes

A minor upgrade to this wonderful recording has arrived and has been pitch-corrected by -22 cents.

Appears to be an unaltered transfer from the master cassette although was missing the replay piece

1809 Over 1810, taken from the previous source.

The replay piece 1809 Over 1810 begins at about 9-1/2 minutes into 1810.

It is unknown how much (if any) was recorded or performed.

The total concert duration is about an hour and there is likely some discussion with the audience

as evidenced by one of the photographs found below.

What was originally thought to be two separate pieces is connected by a short dropout section

where there was a brief switch in recording levels.  This volume variation has been compensated for

and appears as a short increase in ambient noise level at just over 2 minutes into 1811.

A minor dropout in 1810 at 2-1/2 minutes in has been repaired as well as a reversal of

an artificial recording level boost at the end of the piece.

Recorded using “The Sennheizer Kunstkopfsystem”.

Bonus reconstruction track inserts the edited 1809 Over 1810 into the full version of 1810, thus simulating a complete performance with solos over the original Frippertronics background loop.

Many photos and a detailed first-hand description of the event can be found here and here

Official Release Notes

THIS SHOW HAS NOW BEEN OFFICIALLY RELEASED ON DGM LIVE !  BUY IT HERE

Fripp spoken introduction has also been included and more importantly this bootleg has been

synchronized with Fripp’s original backing tapes and therefore is far superior in quality.

The music is a blend of the creation version of the audience bootleg recording,

which would have been in mono, combined with Fripp’s stereo backing loops.

Robert has actually named the performance “Green Music for Libraries”  as seen here

in his diary entry photograph of the tape loop box and confirmed by Alex Mundy.

It appears that the box also states that the performance took place at 3pm in the afternoon.

It appears that the replay section including some brief solos on these loops was not included.

The full length of this appearance is not known, but some additional replaying with solos was performed.
