No live recording of this show has ever surfaced.
An Enovations newsletter, as well as the technical manager and
a first-hand account from Stuart N. who generously contributed
the rare poster and flyer memorabilia below, confirmed that this show
was plagued by some sort of last-minute equipment failure.
According to Peter Leay, something blew up a mere two hours before show time,
resulting in a road crew member racing back to London to retrieve a replacement,
which ended up also not working to full satisfaction, but had to suffice.
It would likely have been something not easily replaceable and vital,
such as one of the “modified” Revox Tape recorders.
This caused the show to be over an hour late.
Show start time was 7:30 pm.
Apparently these problems combined with expectations of a “rock” performance
caused a number of attendees (some coming from as far away as Scotland !)
to actually leave during the concert.
This was a headline for the next day’s local paper box,
also kept for posterity and included below.

Eno subsequently forwarded an apology via the Enovations newsletter
to anyone in attendance for the inconveniences and problems.

Stuart confirms that Malcolm LeGrice’s Berlin Horse film was projected
throughout the performance and is assumed to have been the case for all
Fripp & Eno 1975 tour dates. Eyewitness confirmations exist for London and Paris.

Venue capacity is 1,000 people.
