BUBBLES
a playful smile on your face
a small wand in your palm
memories of a carefree day
when everything was calm
a peaceful summer morning
light wind stirring the air
surrounded by the silence
and having not a care
not a thought of tension
your mind so pure and free
breath so deep and cleansing
eyes closed but you can see
your lips form a small circle
and like a gentle storm
you blow ever so lightly
a shape begins to form
so simple and relaxing
no batteries to install
no mechanical components
a simple rise and fall
they seem to have forgotten
that pleasure need not cost
with all the new technology
the simple things are lost
what better way to relax
and chase away your troubles
than indulging in some quiet time
and blowing lots of bubbles
