Photo Details: Scope: Skywatcher ED80 @ f/7.5 Filters: None Exposure: 30 x 180sec. exposures at ISO800. Darks, and synthetic flat. Camera: Canon 300D modified Software: DeepSkyStacker, IP Digital Development, PS CS Location: 42deg 57'46"N, 82deg 20'28"W, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada Date: 05/22/2007 Comments: Since the ED80 gives such a large FOV, this image is a very heavily cropped version. Galaxies really require a lot more exposure time than I gave this pair, and I would like to go back and add some time for this image.
