Photo Details: Scope: Skywatcher ED80 @ f/7.5 Filters: None Exposure: 27 x 120sec. @ ISO800, darks / 35 x 60sec. @ ISO800, darks / multiple exposures for core Camera: Canon 300D unmodified Software: DeepSkyStacker, IP, PS CS Location: Date: 120 sec. on 09/20/2006, 60 sec. on 09/17/2006, multiple exposures on 09/07/2006 Comments: This galaxy really needs a lot more exposure time. This fall I will most likely go for 5min subs with my modified 300D to help bring out the outer dust lane details, without having to stretch the image as much as this one has been.
