M27 - Dumbell Nebula

Photo Details: Scope: ED80 @ f/7.5 Filters: none Exposure: 17 x 3min subs, 5 darks subtracted, no flats Camera: Canon 300D @ ISO 800 Software: Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Processed in PS CS Location: 42deg 57'46"N, 82deg 20'28"W, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada Date: 10/ 01/ 2006 Comments: Since the ED80 gives such a wide FOV, this image is heavily cropped from the original. I am very happy with the detail in this image considering I used the 80mm scope. This was also my first time using guiding while imaging.
