Camera: Canon 300D modified Software: DeepSkyStacker, PS CS Location: 42deg 57'46"N, 82deg 20'28"W, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada Date: 09/01/2008 Comments: The Cacoon Nebula, also known as IC5146, is located in the constellation Cygnus. This nebula also overlaps the edge of Barnard 168, one of the northeern sky's finest dark nebula. The Cacoon Nebula has an apparent size of only 12 arc minutes and is 3,000 light years away. |
