The
story behind the picture
In
his recent biography of Napoleon Bonaparte, Alan
Schom comments, "We may sometimes try to forget
history, but it does not forget us." Most of the features
on this  site
are a personal attempt to relate the story behind a photograph, in order
not to forget some small part of our history. Some special
events will be of interest only to friends & family,
Many
of the topics will deal with some aspect of life a long time ago. Most
will have some connections to Smiths Falls, Ontario.
