HISTORY
Women's university lacrosse began as the Ontario University Women's
Lacrosse club league before becoming an OUA recognised sport in 1998.
Queen's University was awarded the inaugural Patterson Cup in '98 and
repeated as champions in '99. Wilfred Laurier University won the Cup
in 2000, the final year the league was divided into the East (McGill,
Queen's, Toronto, and York) and West (Brock, Guelph, Laurier, and McMaster,
Western) divisions. The University of Toronto recently repeated as the
2002 champs following their victory in 2001.
The Brock team website was launched in '99 in order to allow parents,
past players, and friends to follow the current season. Following the
links below will take you to information regarding Brock University's
participation in the league in each corresponding year.
