10/31/04 OUA Silver Medallists Congratulations to the Badgers for
their OUA silver-medal winning performance against Laurier. The Badgers
capped off their most successful season (10-1-1) with a 8-6 loss to
the Golden Hawks. This is Brock's second OUA medal (silver in '03) in
as many years - the Badgers lost to Laurier in last year's final. Congratulatons
on a terrific season, ladies!

Brock into OUA Finals The Badgers moved on to play in the gold medal
final against either Laurier or McMaster on Sunday with a 10-4 victory
over U of T.

OUA Athlete of the Week For the second straight week, Heidi Krasnozon
was named Pioneer Petroleum's OUA Athlete of the Week in addition to
Brock Athletics Athlete of the Week. Congratulations again, Heidi! Heidi
layed a key role as spoiler to the Laurier team's bid to go a second
year undefeated. With the wins on the weekend, Brock hosts the OUA Championships
and faces the University of Toronto in the OUA Semi-finals. Laurier
plays off against McMaster in the other semi.

Brock Tops OUA The Badgers travelled to Laurier to face the defending
champions and U of T. The team now leads the OUA in points thanks to
their wins against the Golden Hawks (9-8) and the Varsity Blues (9-7).

OUA Athlete of the Week Heidi Krasnozon was named Pioneer Petroleums'
OUA Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 17. Way to go Heidi!
Heidi was also named the Brock Athletics Athlete of the week. In two
games, she recorded eight goals and five assists for 13 points. In the
Badgers victory over Guelph she recorded a career high six goals and
four assists for 10 points.

Rain Doesn't Dampen Badgers With torrential rain causing a delay/cancellation
of the games scheduled for Saturday, Brock completed their only home
series of the season with two more wins - 9-4 over Western, and 18-2
over Guelph. The game scheduled to be played at home against McMaster
will now be played at Mac on Thursday.

Brock Continues Unbeaten Season Without Head Coach Swann, the Badgers
headed to Kingston to play against Queen's and McGill on Homecoming
Weekend. Against Queens, Brock started slowly, but came back to tie
9-9. In the second game, Brock put a strong showing against McGill,
winning 11-1.

Athlete of the Week Congratulations to Keri Reeder for being named
Brock Athletics' Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in the
Badgers' first 3 games of the season. Keri held the opposition to only
6 goals in 2 games while in net, and added a goal and three assists
in her Brock debut as a field player.

Badgers Start Season with Perfect 3-0 Record The team opened the
season with convincing wins against Western (14-1), Guelph (18-4), and
McMaster (10-5).
