Building The Daisy Beach Railway 2003/2004 -- Photos and Commentary
Uncharacteristically, I had the forsight to take some photos during construction, and it occurred to me afterward that the shots demonstrate the fun you can have creating a very modest garden railway.
The main thing I learned is that although it's good to start with a plan (which I did), the real fun comes in deviating from it -- tearing up the works and trying something else, until you get it right -- or close enough.
