The end of the 1996/97 Cubbing year didn't mean everything shut down for the summer. While meetings went on hold, we still took advantage of the nice weather with a couple of outings. First up was the Best Six winners' mini-golf and pizza day. In August, we set out on bicycle to Bronte Creek Provincial Park to go to the children's farm, swim, and work on our Cyclist badge.
October saw a special camp at Kelso Conservation Area for our 3rd year Cubs. In our 2 day camp we worked on knots, hiked up Glen Eden Ski Hill, and went fishing. We also had a camp song singing battle with the Guide group camped in the site next to us!
