The theme for the 1997 Cuboree was Pirates On The High Seas, and the crew of the 15th Burlington "Demon Ship" came out in full force, complete with a cardboard ship and a mast built by Sixer William.  Activities included a "Tricky Sailboat Race" (our event), "Walk the Plank", "Dunk Tank" (see picture), and "Treasure Chest".

As with the previous 6 years, Saturday afternoon was marred by a 2 hour burst of rain.  Despite the rain, most of the Cubs had a great time.  As for the soggy few, including Leader Kaa, they'll never forget rain gear again...
