Cub Camp Gear List
List of Articles to Bring - General
Weekend Camp
|
PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH THE CUBS’ NAME
- Cub uniform (to be worn for trip up
and opening/closing)
- Sleeping bag
- Extra blanket
- Sleeping pad (note: air mattresses are not a good idea since
they keep cold air next to the body)
- Pillow (note: send a pillow case only, then the Cub can put a
jacket or clothing in it at night as a pillow)

- Unbreakable, but not disposable: plate, bowl, mug, knife, fork,
spoon
- Personal hygiene items
- 3 Complete changes of clothes
- Waterproof rain coat and rain boots
- Flashlight that works, spare batteries
- Small indoor games, (cards, chess, books etc.)

Winter Camp
In addition to the above list you should include:
- Warm winter jacket
- Snow pants or splash pants
- Extra winter jacket (in case main one gets wet)
- Winter hats (not baseball hats)
- Pair of mittens or gloves (mitts are warmer)
- Extra pair of boots if possible, even rain boots would be good
- Main pair of boots should not be jogger style or hiking style as the depth of snow could
cause wet feet

Optional
The following items are to be used depending upon the season:
- Insect repellant (no spray cans)
- Baseball glove, fishing rod (no hooks)
- Swim wear
- Toboggan or snow sled, cross country skis, snowshoes
- Compass
Do NOT Bring
- Radios of any type, tape players, electronic games, matches,
pocket knives, candy or any snack food (including gum)
Please print out this list and refer to it when packing for any camps.
