Our Canadian Thanksgiving on October 10, 2004

Last updated on: October 12, 2004

Every year for our Canadian Thanksgiving, the grandparents of the Bach, De Salis and the Spangenberg families , their children and the grandchildren celebrate Thanksgiving at Spangenberg Farm in Fengal, Ontario.  On this year's Thanksgiving, Auwi and his son Harm were harvesting the soybeans crop, the rest of us were picking apples, visiting friends and watching the harvesting being done with the new harvester. In the evening we all sat down to enjoy a sumptuous thanksgiving meal prepared by Illse. Here are pictures that were taken on this memorable Thanksgiving Sunday.

Karen, (Marie's at Bush Road daughter) and her husband Fred with their daughter, Maureen and son, Eric came out to see the harvesting.

Matthias loved the ride in the harvester and did not want to leave. Later Marie and her  two daughters, Isabelle and Gabrielle  had a ride in the harvester as well.
