Clavius Community Notes 2004 BOSTON COLLEGE
Meeting #42: 3 July to 31 July
As in 1996, the Clavius group was warmly received by the Mathematics department and by the Jesuit community at Boston College. We lived in the Gabelli residence, each apartment equipped with a complete kitchen, lounge and dining areas, and two bathrooms. Community meals and liturgies took place in the common room area on the main floor
Ample office space, seminar rooms, library privileges and computer access were provided. Jerry Keough, Mathematics Department Chair, was very helpful in making sure that everything went smoothly.
Our census for this summer meeting included 24 Clavius mathematicians plus several mathematicians from nearby colleges.
