... well, not quite 'easy', but maybe fun. :)

Does anybody want to continue doing meetings at the Williams or some other congenial location?

Hey, Chris: I replied to a similar message on SF, but yes, I could be into some kind of ongoing write-in deal.

Hi! Let's try to keep it over here, now that Screnzy is pretty much over with.

I'm not sure, but I think that trying for monday might be good as it gives us a bit more time for new people to join us. Monday at 2 at williams? They'll be open on V-day right? (Maybe I should call them tomorrow to make sure.)

Okay, we talked about having another meeting this weekend, and I wanted to bring up the idea of possibly doing it on Saturday, as that would be more convenient to me with other commitments. Would that be good for you Elizabeth?

Yep, I'm free Sunday in the afternoon - my thing doesn't start until 7:30pm. I can go 2-4 if you like. I'm thinking that might be a little better than 1-3, so as to avoid the lunchtime peak??

I can do either though, let me know.

I'm not completely sure if I'm going to be able to show up tomorrow, will post in the morning to let you know. Assuming all goes well 2 should be fine, and then I'll stay through 4:30 and do the first Sunday word war in public. :)

Okay, I think I'm going to have to say I'm not going to make it today, though I'd like to. Still not feeling great, and making it up to Toronto for the singalong yesterday took a lot out of me, though I had a great time and I'm glad I did.

Hope to see you again soon.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Take good care of yourself. Very glad you spent your last ounce of energy on such a worthy cause. I'll look forward to hearing about Dr. Horrible and Bad Horse sometime soon.

Hello again.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still here, kinda, but my health has taken a bit of a crazy ride. I went into the Hamilton General on Wednesday a week ago, and had emergency surgery to get an infected abcess drained. :( Recovery's been annoying, I still have to go into the clinic every day to get my dressings changed, but I'm going to be trying to make it into work for half days starting tomorrow. Hopefully soon I'll be feeling well enough for write-ins again.

Healing vibes gratefully appreciated from all.

Well hello again, and happy JulNoWriMo to all!

Feeling somewhat better now, been going in to work for 2 weeks now I suppose. I could make it out to a write-in if anybody wants to have one, but probably late in the afternoon is good to give me time to get there after the clinic (which I'm still going to every day, yes, they even fit me in on Canada Day.)

Anybody else here??

Huh. I got there around 3, and it wasn't that busy at all. Looked around for you, grabbed a muffin and some water, ate the muffin and drank a bit of water, tried to write some, couldn't concentrate, left around 3:20

Sorry I was late - there's a slightly neurotic story about thinking I'd left my umbrella at the bus stop and going back for it, but I'll leave telling it for another time. :)

Hi, there. I'm new to Hamilton, and discovered some pics from this group in the NaNoWriMo Flickr pool. How odd. :)

If you're looking for a new insane novelist to join your group in the off-season, I'm around for the long weekend. I'm downtown, so if that William's Coffee Pub that was in the picture with the two Alphasmarts is the one I think it is, let me know a time and I'll drop by.

Hi djw. I posted that pic - from one of the May weekends when Elizabeth Twist and I were meeting together.

So - Williams down at the pier, Saturday at 2pm? I'll wear my bright blue-green t-shirt, and bring along either my Alphasmart Dana or my eeepc with the Nanowrimo and Script Frenzy stickers on it.

It was good getting out, and nice meeting you David. Hope you weren't disappointed that there weren't more Hamilton writers who made it.

I did get a few paragraphs done after you left, before deciding to go and wait for the bus home. All words are good!

...and I'm back. So sorry to have dropped out of the picture like I did - I pm'd you regarding my sudden disappearing act, Chris. I'm hoping to enact a dramatic reappearance shortly!

I'll be monitoring this forum in case there are any meetings on the go in the next little while. I'm compensating for a non-writerly summer by trying to write it all in the next two weeks.

All of it. All there is to write, I'm writing it.

I'll definitely be up for write-ins again sometime in September, if that's happening and spirits are willing. My alphasmart is complaining that I don't take it anywhere these days!

I hope everyone is doing well! I'll drop by stringingwords shortly and touch base with everyone there.

Yay, hi there Rhonda! Glad you're back among us.

I think I'll probably be able to meet you for 6pm. I'll post again on Monday to confirm.

Have you been working on anything new since we heard from you last?

And good luck on your two-week drive, Elizabeth!

Thanks! I'm writing super hard and trying to write super fast. It's fun, my arm is sore, and I'm seeing it as a way to make NaNoWriMo look easy!

I'm due for 2 weeks away late August / early September. Will look for / help to instigate regular meetings @ Williams after that.
