At the TGIO, (which I posted my pictures of,) we agreed to meet up every other Wednesday evening at Williams on the Pier, starting the week after next.

Last night, I suddenly realized that the Wednesday after next was the day that I bought tickets for my mother and myself to the Vinyl Cafe show at Hamilton place. It's also my brother's birthday, which often tends to fall on the same day as that Hamilton concert, even though he has no interest whatever in anything VC.

So, it's pretty certain that I won't be able to make that meeting.

Is anybody interested in doing a Saturday get-together this weekend at Williams? 1pm? Anyone, anyone? :-)

Sorry it took me so long to respond, Chris. I've been playing on the JanNo and WriYe boards!

Captain Patrick and I are planning to be at Williams this Wed, Dec 17.

Are others planning to be there?

Depends. I texted Rhonda to see if she was going (she hasn't replied), but I'm not taking a bus out in the cold and dark. Especially two buses each way. Besides, me mam doesn't like me taking buses late at night (in the dark for winter's sake) by myself.

So, if Rhonda would be ever so kind and give me a lift, I'll see y'all there. If not, then, well . . . Have fun without me :)

I'm sorry I didn't show up last night like I said I would. I was firmly convinced that last night was Tuesday evening and the write in was today. It wasn't until after I had gone to bed that I figured out my mistake. I had to get up early to put out the garbage I hadn't put out that night. It was all very strange and I'll do better next time. I hope it went well and there was a good turn out.

Heya,

Sorry Ziggi, my family is in the middle of some things right now. Paris, you're silly! Should we go for it next week, even so close to Christmas? Just putting that out there,

Rhonda.

Just Captain Patrick and I were there. However, we had a nice dinner together and then I wrote about 1500 words. But we did miss the rest of you!

We're not available till after New Years -- too many social events happening.

How about Wednesday, Jan. 7?

C.P.and I were wondering why the start time is at 6. It's always a bit hectic for us to have supper and get there on time. How would people feel about a start time of 6:30 or even 7? C.P. and I would prefer 7.

Well I'm working on episode two of the audio drama scifi series. I would like to go if I can and get some feedback on the pilot and hammer out a good chunk of episode 2

Hey, Tristan! Sci fi audio drama - sounds cool.

I'm back to the firefly project I was working on in December, hope to finish it off in the next two weeks.

Any idea when's good for you to get into Hamilton?

Is that the William's out by Mac? My schedule is pretty wide open right now, but I'm usually home when my wife isn't working. I'd have to know ahead of time when you folks were thinking of getting together, so I could make sure my wife had dinner and such squared away. I've been wanting to get out to one of these for a while, but I never seem to have time.

Anyway, with hope...

Hi, Lee!

We've done write-ins at the Williams across the street from McMaster, as well as the one out on the harbour near James street north. Whichever one people express a preference for is pretty much fine with me. ;)

I'm sorry that I cannot come after all. I am having a very bad neck day, and I think I had better just stay in where it is warm and I can keep my neck supported.

I hope you all have a great time! Write lotsa words, ok?

I also hope we can schedule another one. I do miss our regular meetings.

Darn it, I never imagined that peeps would be so organized there'd be some kind of deal going this past weekend. I should have checked back here before now!

I'd be happy to go hang out this Sunday March 8, let's say 2-4pm at Williams at the Pier, for anyone who wants to get together and write a little. Just so there's a little more of a spy vibe to all this, I'll be writing with a fountain pen and wearing a blue hat. (Also because I've never met any of y'all in person!)

If you want to join me, great! If you need to change the venue (I'm mobile), lemme know. I'll check back in this space.

Excellent. I will go there too.

Not sure what I'll be wearing, but I shall take my little 7-inch eeepc netbook with the 3 nanowrimo stickers on the cover, and be working on editing a manuscript I completed recently.

(Hoping that the Pier Williams will have some muffins that I like - Westdale didn't.)

Continuing with the spy theme, I'll be with the bearded stranger (Captain Patrick; some say there is no one stranger). And probably ChrisK0, too. Heehee.

The SF kickoff is next weekend, and I'll be there then. But I don't think I heard anyone say that we weren't meeting until then. Did I miss it? (Obviously, if anybody can't make it today that's perfectly alright. ;) )
