Greetings fellow WriMo's and welcome!

For those new amongst us (or have forgotten ;) ) I am Welestra, your regional ML and am accompanied once again by the lovely Gale. She should be around and introducing herself soon. I'm usually identified by a lovely highlighter-yellow shirt, which I will try and wear more often this year.

This will be year six for me as a ML, and year seven as a participant. And I'm uber excited already!

So don't be shy, we're a great group and I encourage you to come out and join us both on and offline as much as possible. Introduce yourself, jump into the madness and get ready to pump out those words! We in the Hammer are a competitive bunch, so a regional word war is likely. Should be great fun!

Lots of Luck, and again welcome!

Wow. I don't think I've ever been called "the lovely Gale" before!

Hey, all! I'm Gale, the other ML in the region. This is my second year as an ML, which means that I too will soon be the proud owner of a blindingly bright yellow ML T-shirt. I'm so proud! Heehee.

I've had a lot of changes in my life over the year -- the main one was that we moved to Dundas this summer -- but I am definitely up for NaNo come November. I have plans for my own novel that I hope will include finishing my Thorne's Quest series, and Welestra and I have also been making some initial plans for MLing our little corner of NaNo heaven.

I'm interested in what you folks want or need in order to support you in your writing. More write-ins? Another Calgary-Delaware-Hamilton friendly regional challenge? Let us know, and we'll see what we can arrange.

Hi everyone,

Don't know if anyone remembers me but I go by Madrigal_Silverkin still! never straying far from my fantasy loving roots. I have never finished the novels this however is my third year and maybe it is three times is the charm. Any how I am looking forwards to this year. I got hit with an idea for the novel about three weeks ago and I have been making mental notes...so I will not spend 5 to 10 days searching for a plot or thought or idea about what to write.

So best wishes all lets hope this year is our best year ever.

Hello All.

It's a long way until Nov. 1, but I'm already pumped for this thing to start >:D. My name is John Hill, I attend Sir John A. MacDonald Secondary school, and writing has been my everything since, I was in grade eight. Something that's been bothering me a lot recently is that I have never finished a novel before, but this year I'm planning on finishing one before NaNoWriMo, and one for NaNoWriMo. Poetry has been something I've been preoccupied with a lot recently, but short fiction is creeping up behind me like a distant, and horrific memory :P, well, meeting some of you guys would be a treat, and I wish you guys luck on whatever it is you do, Just wanted to introduce myself, Peace!
