Who can join the Belleville & District Club?

1.a."Women graduates holding an approved degree from a college or university which was, at the time the degree was granted, a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) or from an institution recognized by the International Federation of University Women (IFUW)" or i. " has earned a professional designation or qualification that currently requires a university or college degree." b. " An Associate Member is any woman who does not hold an approved degree or an Honorary Degree from a college or university." Certain restrictions apply to associate membership. To learn more contact us. C.F.U.W. Belleville & District meets the third Thursday of each month in hall at St. Thomas Anglican Church. Monthly programs are planned to address issues that are relevant and appealing to different interests. This year we offered $15,000 in scholarships to graduates of local secondary schools who a pursuing a post-secondary education either at a community college or university. Special interest groups provide opportunities for friendship, thought- provoking discussions and opportunities to learn. These groups cover Canadian Literature, Gourmet, Read the World, Contemporary Concerns, Investment, Walk and Talk and Bridge. |
