January 15th and 16th, put on your blue suede shoes and head to the Temple Theatre for King Fest 2010, a one-of-a-kind competition featuring some of the finest Elvis tribute talents in the country. Returning for a second season, the King Fest competition will offer more excitement, more entertainment, and, of course… more Elvis!
The excitement begins Friday, January 15th at 7pm with the Elvis Tribute Artist Competition, where talented artists vie for the right to return to the ETA Finals, taking place Saturday, January 16th at 1pm. Following the ETA Finals at 8pm is the special event, “The King Returns to Saginaw” featuring first-rate rock ‘n rollers that will have you all shook up!
This year’s headlining artist is GaryElvis, a top-notch entertainer who has been performing Elvis Tribute Shows for over 9 years. GaryElvis has toured the U.S. and Canada, earning top ranks at various Elvis competitions and festivals, and even headlining Windsor Elvis Fest each year since 2006.

Kevin Bezaire, 2009 King Fest’s 1st place winner, has been performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist for 5 years, placing in many top competitions. Jake Slater of Bellaire, Michigan has been performing as an ETA for just over 1 year, but has also already competed at events like Windsor Elvis Fest. Accompanying these thrilling performers is world-renowned Elvis Tribute Band, EAS, who travel the globe backing the best Elvis Tribute Artists with their professional sounds and exciting stage presence.
The Temple Theatre is located at 201 N. Washington Ave. in Saginaw. Box Office hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm. As always, there will be free parking and shuttle service from the Saginaw Tower, 515 N. Washington, two blocks north of the Temple.
