CCAR AND THE NOVEMBER 16 COALITION
It is the position of the Community Coalition Against Racism that any attack on Iraq by the USA (and especially Canada) will result in an explosion of hate crimes in Hamilton, directed mainly against Arabs and Muslims but also against people of colour in general: Bush’s unjust war against the people of Iraq is also a racist war.
Because of the above concern and because we oppose colonial wars driven
by greed for wealth and power, CCAR reaffirmed its commitment at the 2003
Annual General Meeting to support the November
16 Coalition, of which CCAR was a founding member.

and Toronto of which CCAR members actively organized or participated in.
