Who We Are

We are a small family owned hobby / bussiness, located in Peterborough, Ontario Canada.  We individually hand-craft wooden bows for the traditional archery experience.  Our bows are custom crafted one at-a-time to suit your specific wants and needs.

Our Style

Most of our bows are the "flatbow" and traditional style "longbow", between 30# and 60# @28" draw and between 66" to 72" in length from knock-to-knock.  Other styles include reflex/deflex and recurve, all individually hand crafted.

Materials

We make all attempts to use natural materials in-keeping with the "traditional" theme of the sport.  Various materials include wood, bone and horn.  Handle wrap materials include leather, hemp and cotton.  (Dyes are used for cotton and hemp ropes for classic style wrapping)

We use hickory, oak and maple staves and various woods locally available for risers.  When available, select bamboo is stocked for future custom orders. We are able to provide you with a custom made wood bow at almost any stage of construction.  You may wish to do some or most of the final steps in completing your own custom made bow.
