Racing Highlights several top 5 points finishes

Bill has been involved in racing for well over 20 years beginning
crewing for his father John  "the Bordertown Bandit" Gill at the age of
13 his crew experience includes late models, big and small block
modifieds and 6 cyl limited sportsmen in 1986 Bill with the help of his
father and long time family friend Wayne Ashton built a 1976 chev
malibu to run in the amateur division at Humberstone Speedway
netting Bill a heat win and a couple top 5 finishes and a 8th place in
points . the following season Bill ran a prostock for a limited amount
of races then sold the car and focused his attention to crewing for his
father again, he continued to do so until 1992 when he returned in a
street stock and netted a 6th place in points, 1998 seen Bill share a
pure stock with his brother Bob and net a 9th place in points 1999
marked the passing of Bill's father and long time competitor John Gill.
2000 marked Bills move to open wheel competition in the Mod Stock
class netting several top 3 finishes and a 3rd in points  2001 seen the
end of the mod stock division after 4 weeks of racing and Bill along
with Gregg Rauscher purchased a former Dan Habuda and Mark
Feor, spats chassis and make the jump to sportsmen netting Bill a
12th place in points  since 2001 Bill has ran sportsmen with the
exception of of 2002 when Bill ran pro stock and finished 5th in
points.  BiggDawg Racing and JJ Motorsports merged in 2010 with Bill
driving the #25 BRP car in the Sportsman Division.

For 2011 Bill will Drive the Doug Walsh Owned # 49 BRP !
