Team News, vs Bolton
One player certain not to be involved in the game tomorrow is Andy Gray, who this morning completed a loan move for the rest of the season to Burnley. Also doubtful is Julio Arca, who suffered a hamstring strain just before half time against Wigan.
Back in the squad, though are Dan Smith and Neill Collins, both of whom have been recalled from loan spells at Huddersfield and Sheffield United, respectively. Gary Breen returns from suspension, but is unlikely to return to the team after Caldwell and Danny Collins impressed against Wigan.
Bolton, who played 120 minutes against West Ham in the FA Cup in midweek, are likely to bring back Joey O'Brien, Bruno N'Gotty and Hidetoshi Nakata into the side. El-Hadji Diouf is unavailable and may be replaced by Henrik Pedersen.
Squads are: Bolton (from): Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Hunt, Jaidi, Ben Haim, N'Gotty, Gardner, Giannakopoulos, Faye, Okocha, Speed, Nolan, Davies, Vaz Te, Pedersen, Walker, Nakata, Borgetti.
Sunderland (from): Davis, Nosworthy, McCartney, Caldwell, D Collins, Lawrence, Delap, Whitehead, Leadbitter, Miller, Arca, Miller, Hoyte, Kyle, Elliott, Alnwick, Breen, Stead, N Collins, Woods, Murphy
