Room Placement

Action at Yarker MemorialThe ideal situation is to have a table top where all drivers and marshals can stand around the table without blocking the view of the other participants and where all corners are within easy arms length for resetting the cars. This is not always practical, however. Sometimes, due to limited space, the track must go up against one or more walls, thus limiting access. When wiring, keep the driver stations apart or on opposite sides of the table. Consider your light source as well. You may have to add an overhead light or lamp to make sure the track is well lit.  Also don't build a track so big that some parts are unreachable!

Note, one problem with a wall layout such as Valleyview (above), is that it's impossible to marshal some areas without blocking the other racer's view.
